We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula that promote childhood development, while also ensuring the welfare of each child in our care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build positive relationships and ensure the well-being of each child.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs, including those requiring early intervention or special education support.
- Collaborate with fellow educators in curriculum development and sharing best practices for effective teaching strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes exploration and discovery.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Ideal candidate would have completed the 90 hour pre-service training
- Experience working with Preschool children
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and child welfare practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to develop engaging curricula that cater to diverse learning styles.
