CDA in Infant/Toddler
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
3 years of experience required
Provides appropriate support for each infant/toddler/twos in all areas of development, social-emotional, physical, language and cognition.
Completes weekly observations of infant/toddler/twos and uses observations as a basis for lesson planning.
Prepares children’s “Family Conference Forms” and conducts parent conferences after child’s first 3 months in the classroom and then 2x/year, or as needed.
Is responsible for overall management and supervision of infants/toddlers/twos at all times including but not limited to the classroom, playground, walks around NIH campus.
Implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum using the Creative Curriculum.
Actively contributes to curriculum development and weekly team meetings.
Organizes and maintains classroom portfolios on each infant/toddler/twos.
Plans and posts lesson plans on a weekly basis and complies with all duties associated with curriculum planning.
